Grammy Awards: Winners
Last night the 2021 Grammy Awards Ceremony took place, at a socially distanced ceremony hosted by Trevor Noah, without an audience due to COVID-19 precautions.
One of the night’s big winners was Beyonce, who won four Grammy Awards to break the record for most awards won by a woman, and any singer, male or female, with 28 in total.
Beyoncé and fellow Houston native Megan Thee Stallion also made history as the first pair of women to ever win best rap performance with the remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.”
Taylor Swift won Album of the Year for “folklore”, her third Grammy in that category, and only the fourth artist to ever win that many.
Billie Eillish won Record of the Year for “Everything I Wanted”, but during her acceptance speech, she said that Megan Thee Stallion should have won for “Savage” instead.
